1990 Brazilian Grand Prix

The Brazilian Grand Prix 1990 was the 2nd round of the 1990 F1 season, and took place at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace in São Paulo, Brazil, on March 25th.

Alain Prost won the race after starting in the 6th position, followed by Gerhard Berger, and Ayrton Senna, who originally had the pole position, completing the podium.

These included, Alessandro Nannini, who had a puncture that could not be repaired on lap 68, Riccardo Patrese, who suffered a loss in oil pressure on lap 65, Alex Caffi, who had a problem with the clutch on lap 49, Martin Donnelly, and Stefano Modena, both lost control and spun off the track, Paolo Barilla, who suffered an engine malfunction on lap 38, Yannick Dalmas, Aguri Suzuki, and Michele Alboreto, all of whom suffered a suspension problem, Derek Warwick, who suffered from electrical problems on lap 25, Gregor Foitek, who had a transmission problem on lap 14, Éric Bernard, who experienced issues with the gearbox on lap 13, Olivier Grouillard, and Andrea de Cesaris, both retired dure to damage caused by a collision with other cars, and Gabriele Tarquini, Roberto Moreno, Bertrand Gachot, Claudio Langes, and Gary Brabham, all of whom did not prequalify.
