The Brazilian Grand Prix 1988 was the 1st round of the 1988 F1 season, and took place at the Autódromo Internacional Nelson Piquet in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on April 3rd.
Alain Prost won the race after starting in the 3rd position, followed by Gerhard Berger, and Nelson Piquet completing the podium.
Ayrton Senna started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he , and had to retire on lap 31st.
