The Brazilian Grand Prix 1976 was the 1st round of the 1976 F1 season, and took place at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace in São Paulo, Brazil, on January 25th.
Niki Lauda won the race after starting in the 2nd position, followed by Patrick Depailler, and Tom Pryce completing the podium with an expectacular comeback, all the way from the 12th position of the grid.
James Hunt started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he had to retire due to an accident, and had to retire on lap 32nd.
