Kimi Räikkönen won the race after starting in the 10th position, followed by Michael Schumacher, and Rubens Barrichello completing the podium.

Qualifying
During the 2024 season the qualifying format was held entirely on Saturday, and was structured as follows:
- Drivers would compelte a single flying lap, in the order the clasified in the previous race.
- Following the order from that attempt, drivers would complete another single flying lap to decide the final grid order.
This time around, Jarno Trulli managed to secure the pole position with a time of 1:56.232 seconds, 0.072 seconds faster than Michael Schumacher, who completed the first line of the grid.
