The Belgian Grand Prix 1987 was the 3rd round of the 1987 F1 season, and took place at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Spa, Belgium, on May 17th.

Alain Prost won the race after starting in the 6th position, followed by Stefan Johansson, and Andrea de Cesaris completing the podium with an expectacular comeback, all the way from the 13th position of the grid.

Nigel Mansell started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he had to retire due to an accident, and had to retire on lap 17th.
