1963 Belgian Grand Prix

The Belgian Grand Prix 1963 was the 2nd round of the 1963 F1 season, and took place at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Spa, Belgium, on June 9th.

Jim Clark won the race after starting in the 8th position, followed by Bruce McLaren, and Dan Gurney completing the podium.

Graham Hill started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he experienced issues with the gearbox, and had to retire on lap 17th.

These included, Tony Maggs, Tony Settember, Lucien Bianchi, Jim Hall, and Jo Siffert, all of whom had to retire due to an accident, John Surtees, Jack Brabham, and Willy Mairesse, all of whom had an problem with the injection, Graham Hill, Phil Hill, Innes Ireland, and Giancarlo Baghetti, all of whom experienced issues with the gearbox, Chris Amon, who had an oil leak on lap 10, Trevor Taylor, who had physical problems on lap 5, and Peter Arundell, Ludovico Scarfiotti, Lorenzo Bandini, and Ian Burgess, all of whom withdrew.
