1958 Belgian Grand Prix

The Belgian Grand Prix 1958 was the 5th round of the 1958 F1 season, and took place at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Spa, Belgium, on June 15th.

Tony Brooks won the race after starting in the 5th position, followed by Mike Hawthorn, who originally had the pole position, and Stuart Lewis-Evans completing the podium with an expectacular comeback, all the way from the 11th position of the grid.

These included, Paco Godia, Graham Hill, Stirling Moss, and Masten Gregory, all of whom suffered an engine malfunction, Jack Brabham, and Peter Collins, both suffered from an overall car overhating, Luigi Musso, who had to retire due to an accident on lap 5, Jean Behra, who suffered a loss in oil pressure on lap 5, and Wolfgang Seidel, who had problems with the halfshaft on lap 4.
