The Belgian Grand Prix 1953 was the 4th round of the 1953 F1 season, and took place at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Spa, Belgium, on June 21st.
Alberto Ascari won the race after starting in the 2nd position, followed by Luigi Villoresi, and Onofre Marimón completing the podium with an expectacular comeback, all the way from the 16th position of the grid.
Juan Fangio started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he suffered an engine malfunction, and had to retire on lap 13th.
