2002 Austrian Grand Prix

The Austrian Grand Prix 2002 was the 6th round of the 2002 F1 season, and took place at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria, on May 12th.

Michael Schumacher won the race after starting in the 3rd position, followed by Rubens Barrichello, who originally had the pole position, and Juan Pablo Montoya completing the podium.

These included, Jarno Trulli, who suffered a fuel pressure loss on lap 44, Alex Yoong, Olivier Panis, and Kimi Räikkönen, all of whom suffered an engine malfunction, Eddie Irvine, who experienced an hydraulic malfunction on lap 38, Nick Heidfeld, Takuma Sato, and Enrique Bernoldi, all of whom retired dure to damage caused by a collision with other cars, Felipe Massa, who suffered a suspension problem on lap 7, and Pedro de la Rosa, who had a throttle issue on lap 0.
