The Austrian Grand Prix 1982 was the 13th round of the 1982 F1 season, and took place at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria, on August 15th.

Elio de Angelis won the race after starting in the 7th position, followed by Keke Rosberg, and Jacques Laffite completing the podium with an expectacular comeback, all the way from the 14th position of the grid.

Nelson Piquet started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he suffered from electrical problems, and had to retire on lap 31st.
