The Austrian Grand Prix 1974 was the 12th round of the 1974 F1 season, and took place at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria, on August 18th.

Carlos Reutemann won the race after starting in the 2nd position, followed by Denny Hulme, and James Hunt completing the podium.

Niki Lauda started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he suffered an engine malfunction, and had to retire on lap 17th.
