The Austrian Grand Prix 1972 was the 9th round of the 1972 F1 season, and took place at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria, on August 13th.

Emerson Fittipaldi won the race from the pole, followed by Denny Hulme, and Peter Revson completing the podium.
