The Argentine Grand Prix 1998 was the 3rd round of the 1998 F1 season, and took place at the Autódromo Juan y Oscar Gálvez in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on April 12th.
Michael Schumacher won the race after starting in the 2nd position, followed by Mika Häkkinen, and Eddie Irvine completing the podium.
David Coulthard started from the pole position, but only managed to finish 6th.

These included, Olivier Panis, who suffered an engine malfunction on lap 65, Esteban Tuero, who lost control and spun off the track on lap 63, Jacques Villeneuve, and Johnny Herbert, both retired dure to damage caused by a collision with other cars, Ralf Schumacher, who suffered a suspension problem on lap 22, Mika Salo, and Pedro Diniz, both experienced issues with the gearbox, and Jan Magnussen, who had a transmission problem on lap 17.
